Pinterest Finds: Bible Lessons for Kids

Trying to come up with some activities for the kids on Wednesday nights, I snagged a few ideas from Pinterest, I’ll give you a brief synopsis, but link you to the actual sites they’re found! I love these ideas.

bbbb2This “Creation Tube” is a great hands-on activity for the kids to learn what God created on each of the seven days! Inside the blue plate, has little trinkets that represent each thing God created.
Cotton balls for clouds, tree stickers for plants, small erasers and bubble stickers for birds and the sun/moon. All a very cute idea!

The link for a tutorial on how to make it is here!

This activity just involves an ice cube tray or an egg bb4carton, and some ping pong balls! Challenge your kids on who can put together the correct order of books first!

Just a fun and easy activity to practice bible drills, I think I might use this one in my lesson next week.

The link to the site where I found this gem from is right here!

Hopscotch memory verse! Get the kids up and moving and also learning a memory verse! All you have to do is right each word, or a few words on a piece of rectangular construction paper, then form it into a hopscotch game. Have the kids repeat the words as they jump from block to block, I love this activity because kids have a hard time memorizing versus sometimes, so getting them active and incorporating it into a game will be a fun activity, and also educational.

The link to this and a few other activities are on this site here.

Another site I found gives you 13 bible lessons for your kids. A lot of them incorporate arts and crafts into telling the story, and this is a good outline to have when making lessons! Some of the themes it features is The Armor of God, why Jesus’ sacrifice was necessary, being slow to anger, sin and forgiveness, and other valuable lessons that kids should be taught!

The link to the site will be found here!

  1. Hi Emile
I am soooo glad I found your blog. I too am a children’s leader at my church in Zimbabwe Africa. I can’t wait to try some of the things you shared especially the one with the ice tray or egg tray and ping pong balls. I am going to try that.

I haven’t checked the links you shared but if you haven’t mentioned it you should take a look at Activity Village.

    They are amazing……!

It’s always good to meet other people who have a passion for children!
    God bless you

    • Thank you so much for your interest in my blog! It truly is great to find other people who are passionate to teach the kids the word of God. I’ll definitely check out the link, thanks for sharing! God bless 🙂
